Yesterday, sixteen years ago, a couple of young knuckleheads woke up one beautiful, March day.
It was spring break and the only thing that was really required of them was to go to work later that day. They decided to play hooky from work and talk their best friend into it as well. The three of them piled into a car and set out for Denver, CO. On the way they stopped in Julesburg.
Once they arrived in Denver it was a flurry of activity. Since they decided to act spontaneously it wasn't going to be easy for them to find what they were looking for. However, they did find what they were looking for in Denver. At roughly 11am, on a sunny, Colorado morning in a beautiful park with the Rocky Mountains overlooking, the two were married.
Wow! Sixteen years, two kids, two cats and a dog later ... now I'm really feeling old.
