Besides the fact that it's my birthday and all . . . I just wanted to take a moment and congratulate the New England Patriots - on making football history today. I'll admit, I don't watch as much football as I used to, but I wasn't about to miss the game tonight.

Yep. Today's my birthday. Beware. A "Posts with a personal introspection content" watch is in effect.

So I was out doing a little shopping for Christmas and for some odd reason this hurricane of a snowstorm decided to descend over town complete with thunder and slick streets.

 

It's a bit icy outside. Could be a lot worse. The streets aren't that bad, but school's closed and the weather reporters are making a lot more out of it than I'm seeing outside. Admittedly, it's still better to spend the day indoors.
